On July 14 and 15, eight DCFR members participated in Leaders to Sea embarks aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97). Established by DCFR member David B. Robinson, former Commander of Naval Surface Force, the Leaders to Sea program provides a rare opportunity for community leaders to observe daily operations on board a Navy warship.
