Kathleen Gibson joined Citi in 2006 as head of Citibank Texas Commercial and president of Citibank Texas. She became president of the Central Region, Commercial Banking, during 2007. Previously Kathleen spent 25 years with Bank of America and its predecessor banks. During that time she ran the bank’s southwest strategies and North Texas commercial businesses, served as president of Bank of America, Dallas, and held various roles in private banking and asset management. She also was managing director for the southwest diversified industries group for Bank of America Securities and had responsibility for cross border structured finance and project finance origination activities in the western United States. Born in Texas, Ms. Gibson lived several early years in Argentina and the Dominican Republic.
